I'm an Australian designer with 13 years of experience working with some of the biggest brands in Australia. I'm currently serving at the ABC, where I've been crafting and leading experiences for ABC iview and ABC listen.
I recently led the redesign of the ABC listen mobile app & tablet app. It was awarded Best in Class at the Good Design Awards.
Before the ABC, I was a designer at ustwo. During my time I was fortunate to work with Google, Qantas, Westfield, The ABC, Caltex and amaysim.
I have extensive experience working with video + audio and would definitely like to work more with audio.
I have given guest lectures in product design at the University of Technology Sydney.
This has been life so far...
July 2019 – Present
I'm currently responsible for leading the SmartTV experience across ABC iview. ABC iview was the #1 Australian BVOD service in 2021, which was amazing for the whole team.
I led the ABC listen app redesign and ABC listen was also the #1 Australian radio streaming service in 2021. The creative direction of my work is now informing wider projects at the ABC.

This was a surreal time. Every project was massive and I got to work with some extremely talented people from all around the world. I left ustwo with a confidence that I didn't have when I started.

Folk was special, because I got to work under a creative director (Graham Barton). He taught me how powerful grounding projects around a single idea is. Then how to use that idea to guide the direction of the work. Thank you Graham!

I only spent six months at Channel 9, after a solo backpacking trip. I got to work on early concepts of what is now Channel 9's video on demand platform.

This was where I cut my teeth as a junior. It was only a team of 4 with a proprietary ecommerce platform. I was on the phone daily with our customers, completely out of my depth. The edge this experience gave me was huge. I released my first App here in 2012.

The internship... I spent most of the time embarrassing myself here, but I did get to work on a children's book called "Where's Mum?". This still remains my only ever printed work.

Top gun forklift operator. Multiplied my pay cheque and dumped it all into the same terrible bands.

Word class pizziaolo. I played drums in many terrible bands and funded that by making pizzas.
